90-Degree Oil Filter Adapter

Adapter improves access to the oil filter. High quality unit similar to their STC'd model, but for Experimental airplanes only. Choice of three spacers to ensure clearance from the engine mount. Different engine mount and engine combinations mean that different spacers may be required.

Most RVs will need the 1.5" spacer, but thinner or thicker spacers are also available if more or less clearance is desired. We have not fitted these to all RV models, so we do not know which spacer is appropriate. Also, accessories fitted to the vacuum drive pad may affect clearances.

Adapter and spacers include necessary gaskets and hardware, but a Vernatherm valve will be required if engine does not have one. Requires the Champion Oil Filter CH48108-1, 90°  (not supplied).
