RV-12 Nose Gear Leg Retrofit Service Bulletin Kit

Retrofit kit to replace original style nose gear leg on RV-12
NOTE: If you have not yet installed your nose gear leg on your airplane project, please call Van's to order the part needed. This kit is for use only when replacing a nose gear leg that has already been installed.

Kit Includes:

The following tools are required:

• 1/8" x 18" Extra Length Aircraft Drill Bit
• 1/4" x 18" Extra Length Aircraft Drill Bit
• 3/8" x 18" Extra Length Aircraft Drill Bit
• #30 drill bit
• 8-32 tap (if nose leg fairing is installed)
• Drilling lubricant (e.g. Boelube )

** The three drill bits listed above may also be purchased as a set from Van’s Aircraft. Order Set of Three 18" Drill Bits 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" to obtain the complete set of three drill
bits.
