Audio Warning For Non-Electronic Flap Systems

This kit includes the parts used to enable intercom audio warnings for an unlatch tip-up canopy in an RV-6/7/9 aircraft without an EFIS that is capable of displaying alerts based on an external input.

If you have a non-EFIS-equipped airplane, order this kit plus the "TIP UP CANOPY LATCH WARNING" kit, which includes the latch parts and hardware used to assemble the latch and switch system.

Note: This kit includes DOC OP-61, which covers the installation of both of the above-described kits. Please refer to this document for complete details about the latch warning system and its components.

Important: For EFIS-equipped airplanes, where the EFIS has an available input that will allow you to alert upon activation of an external circuit, this kit is not needed.
