Required Sealant for Building Your Tanks
2 hour work time

The recommended sealer for RV fuel tanks, replaces older ProSeal. Limited shelf life (approximately 4 months from purchase). Order when ready to seal tanks. With careful application, one can should do one airplane, even the larger RV-7 and RV-8 tanks, but many builders use more (two definitely needed for the RV-10/14). Includes accelerator. Sealing compound and accelerator are mixed by WEIGHT at a ratio of 10:1 (2 hour working time). Also, to save yourself a call: We know that the quart can does not contain a full quart of sealant. This is normal.

Fuel tank sealant in a smaller quantity in a convenient package. Very useful for the odd small job on the tank or riveted trailing edges. Same 2 hr work time as MC-236-B2. Order TOOL SEALANT GUN for ease of application.

Fuel Tank Sealant, 1 ounce (1 ounce)

Includes accelerator and is a 1 ounce quantity (1/2 hour working time). Enough to fix an access panel on the fuel tank, or for the RV-7/9 rudder trailing edge. Faster cure time than the types above.
